How it works:
A stabilizer bar is typically a flexible, U-shaped or torsion bar-like metal rod installed transversely to the vehicle's axle (most

commonly the front axle, but also the rear axle on some trucks). (The stabilizer bar is located above the vehicle's suspension system).

Its ends are connected to the left and right suspension components (such as control arms, shock absorber mounts, or the axle itself)

via links (stabilizer links), while the center section is secured to the vehicle frame or subframe via bushings.

When the vehicle is traveling in a straight line and the suspensions on both sides move synchronously (such as going over a speed

bump at the same time), the stabilizer bar itself will twist, but it will not generate additional resistance and will not affect the

independent movement of the suspension.
