How to change the rear wheel oil seal is simple?
1- Remove the main gear universal joint fork, evenly sand the sealing surface with 2000 mesh scrap metallurgical sandpaper and apply gear oil on the surface.
2- Use 2000 mesh scrap metallurgical sandpaper to sand the rear axle main gear oil seal mating surface, no burrs.
3- Apply sealant in the groove of the new oil seal housing. Apply gear oil to the mating surface of the rear axle main gear oil seal. Lay flat and tap in with a square block of wood pad.
4- It is best to use a special socket against the groove inside the oil seal to tap it in. Install the main tooth universal joint. Snap the main tooth universal joint fork with the special disassembly tool and tighten the lock nut with a torque spanner.
5-Fit the rear drive shaft. Automotive oil seals are one of the more used accessories in automotive repair.
